Meeting point and transport

According to the rules of the group tour to Chernobyl, we do not pick up each tourist, and the members of the group should come to the meeting point on their own.  The meeting point is always in the center of the city, so it won’t take long to get there by taxi or on foot.

The tour around Chernobyl is carried out by the new convenient Mercedes Sprinter mini-bus, equipped with air-conditioning and multimedia systems as well as comfortable leather seats with safety belts. The capacity of the minibus is up to 18 people, so the size of the group on our day tour to Chernobyl will not be too large.

Tour program and guiding

During the tour to Chernobyl, the group will see the most popular spots of the exclusion zone.  This exciting exploration will include visiting the Duga Radar, the town of Pripyat Chernobyl itself, and of course, the sadly known 4th reactor, covered with the safety shelter.  Tourists will discover lots of abandoned sights like cinema and club, stadium and amusement park, school and kindergarten, hospital and residential buildings all stuck in a moment of the terrifying and tragic event. Moreover, there is a chance to take a look inside the control room of Chernobyl reactor four, which has been opened for the tourists not long ago.

By default, the certified guide for the Chernobyl tour will be English-speaking, but we can provide the guide speaking any other language upon request.

Daily meals

Lunch is included in the cost of Chernobyl tour and takes place in the canteen of the nuclear plant. Tourists are offered to try the traditional ‘soviet’ cuisine for workers. The lunch consists of the first course, main course, salad, two drinks, and a dessert. There’s a choice between several options for each course.  The food is cooked locally, but all products are brought from Kyiv, so they are completely clean and do not contain any radiation.

For those who have special nutrition plan we can offer takeaway food brought from Kyiv restaurants according to our tourists’ needs and preferences. Thus we can provide vegan and vegetarian food as well as lunch from the requested national cuisine.
