Let your visit to Ukraine start slow and smooth. After you've landed, find a taxi or give a chance to a public transport to take you to a 3-star Ibis City Center hotel. Unpack, relax, or go and try local cuisine. There is no rush on the first day.
We will share the time and place in Kiev where a bus will pick you up and bring you to Chernobyl and Pripyat Zones. After a 1,5 hour ride from Kiev to Chernobyl you will have an entire 9-hours guided tour to explore the renowned nuclear power plant, measure the radiation level with a special device and, maybe, feel creeped out seeing what happened to what used to be a peaceful industrial city. The lunch (which we bring with us from Kiev) will be served in the middle of the tour, so don't forget to mention your food limitations, if there are any.
Our English-speaking tour guide will take you to the best places to visit in Kiev city, tell stories about the country and its complicated history and on your request can walk you to the wildest party locations in the capital. Due to Kiev's enormous size a 3-hour tour can't possibly include every Must do Kiev activity, so prepare to take notes to continue the tour on your own the next day or start making plans for another Kiev vacation.
Depending on the time of your departure and personal preferences, this day can either be a relaxing packing retreat or another adventurous journey for you and your friends.
